Going into the 121st running of the Penn Relays this weekend, David Lucas’ discus PR was 190-6, set in his first meet this year against Hempfield. To further set the comparative stage, at last year’s Penn Relays David also PR’d with a 180-6 and 4th place finish.
The 2015 edition of Penn Relays was certainly good to David as he produced his most impressive series of throws in his career, culminating with a new PR of 199-7 and a Silver medal behind the leading throw of Ohio senior Trevor Detillion (203-6).
Four of David’s six throws soared for PR’s: 199-7, 198-9, 195-9, and 193-5.
